As TapTechNews knows, AMD had previously held a liquid nitrogen overclocking event and finally overclocked the flagship Ryzen 9 9950X to 6.6 GHz in all cores. And this overclocking has also successfully broken through the 7 GHz mark in all cores. It is believed that we will see a higher frequency appear in not too long.

According to the introduction, AlvaJonathan used the MSI MEG X670E ACE motherboard + a pair of 32GB DDR5 memory for liquid nitrogen overclocking, and all six cores were set to x70 times the reference frequency of 100 MHz.

Thanks to the high frequency of 7 GHz, the R5 9600X has now become the fastest 6-core processor in the Cinebench 2024 multi-core and Y-Cruncher PI-BBP-10B benchmark tests.

In addition, the internal overclocking expert SAFEDISK of ASUS also created two new overclocking records with the Ryzen 5 9600X and ranked first in the X265 1080P and 4K benchmark tests.
