TapTechNews September 15th news, the repair team iFixit released a blog post on September 13th, disassembling Google's Pixel 9 Pro Fold folding screen phone, along with CT scan images provided by Lumafield.

iFixt team stated in the blog post that the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold folding screen phone adopts a modular design, and all the internal parts use 3 IP screws, and many parts designs including the USB-C port and the SIM card tray are relatively easy to disassemble.
The only criticism from iFixit is that the 4.68Wh and 13.4Wh batteries cannot be removed through the pull tab beneath them; the team also pointed out that the folding screen cannot be removed without damage.
