MacPaw Launches Third-Party App Store Setapp for Apple iPhone in EU

TapTechNews reported on May 14 that MacPaw officially announced that it will launch a third-party app store called Setapp for Apple iPhone in EU member states on May 14 this year.

MacPaw started preparing for the third-party app store Setapp in February this year, where users can access dozens of applications, including popular ones such as Ulysses, iStatMenus, Spark, Unite, and Yoink.

According to MacPaw, Setapp will offer a variety of carefully selected applications covering productivity, design, lifestyle, and utility categories.

MacPaw stated that the Setapp Mobile beta will provide a selection of carefully chosen applications. TapTechNews included a list as follows:

Productivity and business tools: Use various tools to boost efficiency, including managing schedules, tracking work progress, and personalizing internet experience.

Creative and design software: Utilize intuitive tools designed for photo animation, document creation, and unleash your creative potential.

Lifestyle and productivity: Improve your daily work with a variety of applications, help develop better life habits, stay informed with the latest news, and effectively manage your notes and ideas.

Practical applications: Effortlessly share files, monitor expenses, and streamline creative organization processes with these applications, making daily work easier.

Professional tools: Use advanced applications tailored for detailed document search and comprehensive database management work.

Applications released through other app markets must undergo notarization processes to ensure they do not contain malicious software. However, there are no content restrictions from Apple, so apps that may not qualify for the App Store can be distributed in other ways.
