XPeng and Didi to Launch Model for B-End Market in 2025

According to iFeng Tech's report today, the model jointly developed by XPeng and Didi for the B-end market (the 'B-end' refers to products for enterprises or organizations, usually referring to taxis, online car-hailing, and special car services in the automotive field. The counterpart is the 'C-end', which refers to products for individual consumers) plans to be officially launched in the first half of 2025. The new model may be equipped with a brand-new brand logo and named 'Xiangwang'.
TapTechNews note: There is a 'betting agreement' in the cooperation between XPeng and Didi: In addition to the immediate equity swap for the other party's assets, Didi needs to complete the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and the annual sales target to obtain further shares, and the maximum is no more than 5%. If the cooperative model's sales can reach 100,000 units in the Didi travel system, more shares can be obtained. If it can reach the annual sales target of 180,000 units for two consecutive years, it can get the highest incentive shares and can get 5% of the total consideration.
XPeng Motors announced in August last year that it signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Didi, and the subject business covers the research and development, design and engineering development of the new intelligent electric vehicle. As the core of this strategic cooperation, an A-class intelligent electric vehicle will enter the market as the first product of XPeng Motors' new brand, and it is expected to start mass production this year, and the project code is 'MONA'. The new brand model will form a differentiated positioning from XPeng's existing brand products. At the same time, Didi will open the whole ecological empowerment to XPeng Motors for the first time, providing strong support including intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving and shared travel market for 'MONA', helping XPeng Motors create a hit model in the '150,000-level' price range and further accelerating the application and popularization of automatic assisted driving and intelligent cockpit technology in the global market.
In addition, according to the previous report by TapTechNews, the spy photos of a mysterious model under XPeng Motors in May this year were exposed. In the license plate frame below the trunk, the official name or internal code of the car is printed, but the clarity of the spy photo is limited, and only the words 'Xiang' and '03' can be seen in the car name. The second word is rather blurred and may be named 'Xiangwang 03'.
Recently, the first model of XPeng Motors' MONA series was officially named 'M03'. The car is expected to be officially unveiled in June and go on the market in the third quarter of this year. For reference, the product of the cooperation between XPeng and Didi is expected to be based on the 'MONA M03' model.
