China's Auto Industry June and First Half of 2024 Import and Export Update

TapTechNews August 6th news, TapTechNews learned from the official of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers that according to the data of the General Administration of Customs sorted out by it, as of June this year, the total import and export volume of automotive products increased slightly year-on-year.

In June this year, the total import and export volume of automotive products was 25.19 billion US dollars, a decrease of 4.5% month-on-month and an increase of 6.7% year-on-year; among them, the import amount was 6.17 billion US dollars, an increase of 1.6% month-on-month and a decrease of 4.9% year-on-year; the export amount was 19.02 billion US dollars, a decrease of 6.3% month-on-month and an increase of 11.1% year-on-year.

In the first half of this year, the cumulative total import and export volume of automotive products across the country was 145.31 billion US dollars, an increase of 6.8% year-on-year; among them, the import amount was 33.41 billion US dollars, a decrease of 7.5% year-on-year; the export amount was 111.9 billion US dollars, an increase of 11.9% year-on-year.
