China Railway Nanchang Group Co., Ltd. announced that starting from May 16, the Hangchang High-Speed Railway and Longlong High-Speed Railway will launch the “railway e-card” service at 9 railway stations in Jiangxi and Fujian provinces, and simultaneously launch the functions of making appointments and swiping cards for entry and exit. From now on, a total of 111 high-speed railway stations in the two provinces of Gan and Min will all implement the “railway e-card” service, achieving full coverage of this service on the high-speed railway lines in the two provinces.
In simple terms, passengers who have activated the railway e-card can board the G, D, and C trains within the Gan and Min provinces by presenting a QR code or valid personal ID, without the need to purchase tickets in advance.
In addition, the railway department has also launched a promotional activity: when traveling at any railway station in Gan and Min provinces using the railway e-card, each order will randomly receive a discount, with the highest discount up to 10% off the ticket price.
TapTechNews noted that the railway department had previously launched various new ticket products in the Gan and Min provinces, such as the regular ticket, multi-ride ticket products on 6 lines including the Beijing-Hong Kong High-Speed Railway, Fuzhou-Xiamen High-Speed Railway, and Changsha-Fuzhou Railway, allowing passengers to make one purchase, one payment, and use it multiple times with a certain ticket price discount.
In addition, the southern railway also launched three tourist multi-ride ticket products for Xiamen+Fuzhou+Pingtan, Xiamen+Fuzhou+Taining, and Xiamen+Quanzhou+Wuyishan, allowing for more convenience and flexibility in travel through the high-speed train + tourism mode, further realizing effective linkage between multi-ride tickets and supporting tourism products.
