TapTechNews reported on May 13 that realme recently announced that the realme GT Neo 6 will bring three major system upgrades, including new smooth animations and control experience, feature updates, and models such as realme GT 5 Pro, realme GT 5, realme GT Neo 6 SE, and realme GT Neo 5 will also be upgraded.
The main upgrade contents are as follows:
New smooth animations
Added visual effects such as wallpaper zoom in and out when launching and exiting applications, seamless icon deformation, smoother animations
Added unlock entry desktop icon and card layered fly in, wallpaper zoom in animation
Added wallpaper zoom in, screen brightness gradient animation when turning on and off the screen
Optimized the background color and Gaussian blur effect of the quick control center, notification cards, desktop drawers, and global search
Optimized the start and exit animations of global search, making the animations more soft and consistent
New control experience
Added side swipe interruption animation for launching and exiting applications
Added side swipe return animation during application startup animation
Added fast interruption animation for sliding up to exit full-screen applications in landscape mode
Added stacked position at the bottom right of large folders for quick access to more applications
Added gesture support for sinking icons at the bottom of large folders, making it easy to open applications with one hand
Optimized response speed for clicking and sliding operations, making desktop and multitasking operations more stable and responsive, and blocking more timely
Optimized application damping to enhance application startup and exit, multitasking in and out: follow-hand feedback in system navigation bar horizontal sliding scenario
Optimized large folder animation experience, making application dragging smoother
Feature updates
Added volume bar to control center for quick adjustment of phone volume (realme GT 5 Pro began rolling out at the end of April)
Free floating window supports bottom drag to adjust size, and supports upward swipe gesture to close in mini mode
The realme GT Neo 6 was just released on May 9th, starting at RMB 2099. The new machine is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, LPDDR5X memory, and UFS 4.0 flash memory. The front of the phone is equipped with a 6.78-inch JD customized 6000nit dual screen, the only 8TLTPO of the same class (JD), with a resolution of 2780×1264 and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
In other aspects, the phone features a 5500mAh super large battery and 120W lightning speed charging combination, a front 32MP (Sony IMX615) camera, and a rear 50MP main camera (Sony LYT-600, OIS) + 8MP ultra wide-angle camera (Sony IMX355).
