Kingston Showcases DDR5 CAMM2 Modules with Nanya Technology Particles at Computex Taipei 2024

TapTechNews June 11, according to the X platform dynamic of Taiwan media UNIKO'sHardware, Kingston showcased CAMM2 memory modules with three different DDR5 particles at Computex Taipei 2024.

In addition to the common 16Gb ADie of SK Hynix and 24Gb MDie, Kingston also brought the CAMM2 memory stick with the DDR5 particles of Nanya Technology.

According to the official website of Nanya Technology, the company's DDR5 memory is still in the development stage at present, and all the planned products are 16Gb in capacity, with optional speeds of 4800/5600 MT/s.

TapTechNews previously reported that Nanya Technology said that its first DDR5 product is based on the 1B nm process and will be officially produced in a small amount in the second half of the year and enter the mass production stage next year.

Nanya Technology also plans the iterative version of DDR5 memory in the 1B nm process and DDR5 memory in the 1C nm process, both with a capacity of 16Gb.

Therefore, the DDR5 CAMM2 memory of the Nanya Technology version displayed by Kingston is expected to be of 32GB capacity (12 particles on the front side + 4 particles on the back side, a total of 16 * 16Gb = 256Gb = 32GB).
