Canon EOS R1 Coming Soon with Details

TapTechNews Jun 18th news, Canon released the development announcement about EOS R1 as early as May 15th, but has not given the release and launch date yet. Canon officially released a trailer today, confirming that this new machine will be released in the near future.

According to CanonRumors, many retailers around the world confirmed that Canon EOS R1 will be released in mid-July along with the EOS R5 Mark II camera.

According to previous leaks, the Canon EOS R1 camera is expected to adopt:

24MP sensor

The price is $6,499 (TapTechNews note: currently about 47,218 RMB).

Supports QPAF all-pixel quad-core autofocus and is equipped with the second-generation eye control AF technology.

The body is ergonomically designed and relatively larger than the previous Canon EOS R3.

Adopts a larger OLED rear screen than previous cameras and has a color shoulder screen.

The EVF resolution is the highest so far for Canon and may have ultra-high refresh rate.

Has dual CFexpress Type B card slots and is equipped with a full-size HDMI interface.

The video function and firmware will be developed by the CinemaEOS team.
