Phison Unveils Pascari Enterprise SSD Line at FMS2024 Summit
TapTechNews August 7th news, Phison fully demonstrated its Pascari enterprise solid-state drive product line at the FMS2024 summit. This product line covers five major categories and is for various enterprise-level and data center applications.

X Series - Best Performance
Phison's X series enterprise solid-state drives are "specially designed for extreme write requirements". In addition to the X200 family initially launched, Phison also introduced two PCIe4.0 products, X100P and X100E, which are 1DWPD and 3DWPD respectively, and the maximum capacity reaches up to 32 terabytes (note 1).
Both X100P and X100E have sequential read and write speeds up to 7400/ 6900 MB/s, and random read speeds up to 1750 KIOPS; the random write rate of X100P can reach 190 KIOPS, and that of X100E is higher, reaching 470 KIOPS.
D Series - Data Center
The D series solid-state drives are "for modern data center applications", including the 1DWPD model D100P with a PCIe4.0 interface and the D200 family with a PCIe5.0 interface in the optional U.2, M.2, and E1.S form factors.
The two products D200P and D200E in the D200 family except for D200V both adopt the E1.S form factor, and the capacity is up to 4 terabytes (note 1), and the nominal performance is lower than that of the X200 family products.
B Series - Boot Drive
Pascari B series solid-state drives are "specifically for the system boot process", focusing on reliability and I/O stability.
The two products BA50P and B100P use SATAIII and PCIe4.0×4 interfaces respectively, and the maximum capacity is only 960 gigabytes, and in terms of durability, they are both 1DWPD.
S Series - SATA Interface
"For traditional server storage upgrades", Phison launched three SATA interface solid-state drives of the SA50 family, all of which only provide the 2.5-inch disk version.
The maximum capacity of SA50V is greater than that of SA50P, and the maximum capacity of SA50P is greater than that of SA50E; but the durability level is the opposite, SA50E > SA50P > SA50A, and the write durability of SA50A is only 0.4DWPD.
AI Series - AI Applications
Phison currently only provides one product, AI100E, in the AI series. The feature of this product lies in the "ultra-high write durability of 100DWPD".
This solid-state drive uses the PCIe4.0×4 interface, and the optional form factors are M.2 2280 and U.2 15mm, and the capacity can be selected as 1 terabyte and 2 terabytes; the sequential read and write speeds of Phison AI100E can reach 7200/6500 MB/s, and the random read and write speeds can both reach 1000 KIOPS.
