The Silent Hill 2: Remake game is developed by BlooberTeam and was officially announced in 2022, but there have been few news updates since then.

TapTechNews reported in March this year that it has obtained a rating in South Korea, and the rating category is not suitable for teenagers, with descriptions including excessive violence, blood, physical separation of limbs, and strange-shaped creatures with limbs.

In April this year, this game obtained the ESRB M 17+ rating, and then the Mexican retail platform Sanborns leaked that the Silent Hill 2: Remake will be released on May 30 this year, and now the official has basically confirmed this news.

Konami also plans to reveal the deeper content of the film at Thursday's press conference. The film here refers to Return to Silent Hill, directed by film director Christophe Gans. This film is described as a reboot of the film series rather than a sequel.

Konami may share the trailer and release date of the new film on May 30.
