Cooler Master's XSilentEdgePlatinum850 and Nvidia's RTX5090 Power Supply and Speculation

TapTechNews August 6th news, Cooler Master stated on the product page of its XSilentEdgePlatinum850 fanless power supply in its official Amazon e-commerce store that the power supply supports Nvidia's next-generation flagship graphics card RTX5090 that has not been released yet.

It is worth noting that according to the product introduction, the 12+4Pin graphics card power supply module cable equipped with this power supply can only provide 450W of power, not the 600W version with the highest power.

If Cooler Master's statements on both graphics card support and the power supply capacity of the module cable are correct, then it means that the rated power consumption of Nvidia's RTX5090 graphics card will not exceed 525W (TapTechNews note: 450W of 12+4Pin plus 75W of the PCIe slot).

This calculation result is also in line with the 500W TDP power consumption set for RTX5090 in the power calculator on the official website of another power supply manufacturer Seasonic previously.

Back to Cooler Master XSilentEdgePlatinum850, this fanless power supply is 180mm long, complies with the ATX3.1 specification, and has passed the 80Plus Platinum conversion efficiency certification.

It integrates Cooler Master's self-developed heat pipe cooling solution and Infineon CoolMOS devices, and has an extremely long 15-year warranty.
