At the same time, the United States has also increased its attention to the safety issue of electric mobility products.

According to AutoNews, the US Congress is currently reviewing two supporting bills aimed at ensuring the safety of lithium-ion batteries in all electric mobility tools including electric bicycles. One of the bills was passed by the House of Representatives in May this year, requiring the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to formulate new battery and related equipment (such as chargers, cables, and external battery packs) standards. On August 1, the Senate Commerce Committee approved another bill, also requiring the Consumer Product Safety Commission to formulate new battery standards.
