Tianbei said that it has prepared the motherboard for the mini PC of the StrixPoint processor (this series of processors shares the FP8 CPU platform/socket with the previously launched Phoenix and HawkPoint), but has not received the CPU for testing yet.

It is worth noting that the specifications pages of the three AMD Ryzen AI300 processors that have been released now all mention the support for DDR5 memory, but the existing products based on the Ryzen AI300 processor are all equipped with onboard LPDDR5X memory.

Considering that the vast majority of mini PCs still use the socket-type SO-DIMM, whether the StrixPoint processor mini PC launched no earlier than October will use DDR5 memory sticks - that is, whether the Ryzen AI300 processor will actually implement DDR5 support at that time - is worthy of further attention by TapTechNews.
