On May 31, TapTechNews reported that the memory module enterprise Apacer yesterday announced that it will bring a series of new memory products with the theme of Intelligence Leads to a Forward-looking Future at the 2024 Computex Taipei, which will open on June 4.
Apacer will showcase the world's first USB4 mobile solid state drive using a single-chip control solution at the show.
According to TapTechNews's previous reports, Phison had already demonstrated the single-chip main controller U21 described in Apacer's press release at CES 2024. This main controller supports up to a maximum capacity of 8TB, and both sequential reading and writing can reach the full speed of USB4.
Apacer will also bring native DDR5-6400 DDR5 U-DIMM/SO-DIMM memory sticks, CXL memory modules based on DDR5 particles, as well as CAMM2 modules and PCIe Gen5 x4 solid state drives with sequential reading and writing reaching 14/12 GB/s.
In terms of characteristic products, Apacer will showcase an industrial wide-temperature DDR5 module with patented anti-sulfurization technology and lead-free DDR5. In addition, there is also a fragrance mobile solid state drive created using heat.
Besides the storage product matrix, Apacer will also exhibit cholesteric liquid crystal full-color e-paper devices in cooperation with Rainbow Optoelectronics.
