Samsung GalaxyRing Smart Ring to Launch New Sizes, with Advanced Features

TapTechNews September 20th news, leaker MaxJambor tweeted this afternoon that the Samsung GalaxyRing smart ring will launch two additional sizes, 14 and 15 (Ring sizes), in the coming weeks.

Currently, the Samsung GalaxyRing offers 9 ring sizes, corresponding to the US Ring sizes of 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. TapTechNews attaches the size comparison table:

The Chinese version of the Samsung GalaxyRing smart ring has already been on sale in July, supporting heart rate and body temperature monitoring, $470. (1 RMB≈0.15 USD).

This smart ring adopts a titanium metal frame and offers three color options: titanium black, titanium silver, and titanium gold. The ring supports health monitoring, 10 ATM water resistance level, and IP68 dust and water resistance. It adopts a lightweight design and provides 9 different size versions according to the finger sizes of different users, with a weight of about 0.08 oz to 0.11 oz.

The battery capacity of the GalaxyRing is between 14.5 mAh and 21.5 mAh, and the charging case is 361 mAh, charging 30% of the power in 40 minutes, and it can be used continuously for 7 days in a fully charged state. In addition, it has a built-in health sensor that can monitor heart rate, stress level, body and skin temperature and other health indicators, and also supports predicting the female physiological cycle and ovulation period through the monitoring information.
