Baidu and NVIDIA Launch 2024 Intelligent Agent Innovation Contest with Multiple Tracks and Prizes
TapTechNews August 29th news, Baidu today announced that it has jointly launched the 2024 Baidu Search - Wenxin Intelligent Agent Innovation Contest with NVIDIA, with a total of 2 competition tracks and 5 competition topics.

Technology Track
The task of the participants is to develop an LLM-based Agent, which can intelligently choreograph and schedule these tools under the condition of a given large set of tools to answer complex questions in the open domain.
Intelligent Agent Application Track
Participants need to create a life and entertainment intelligent agent based on the Wenxin Intelligent Agent platform around people's daily life needs, providing users with new and innovative gameplay or leisure services.
Intelligent Agent Application Track
Participants need to cooperate with industry experts to create a practical and highly user-question-satisfying vertical expert intelligent agent based on the Wenxin Intelligent Agent platform.
Intelligent Agent Application Track
Participants need to create an intelligent agent that can provide service support in commercial activities or commodity transactions based on the Wenxin Intelligent Agent platform with the help of advanced configuration capabilities such as platform commercialization and workflow.

This track has no specific requirements. Welcome participants to use their imagination and create a truly usable intelligent agent to provide practical help to people.
Baidu disclosed that this contest will award a total of nearly 500,000 Chinese yuan (about $70,000) in cash prizes to the winning intelligent agent developers. Not only that, but the participants can also obtain the technical support provided by Baidu, freely call the ability of Wenxin Large Model 4.0, use the Agent framework, and a series of intelligent agent development courses.
Registration has started, and the competition schedule is as follows:
August 29th: 2024 Baidu Search - Wenxin Intelligent Agent Innovation Contest, registration starts.
August 29th - October 7th: Provide a series of live broadcasts and video courses, as well as 5 offline salons, and participants submit works according to the requirements of the preliminaries.
October 18th - October 25th: Announce the list of finalists, and participants submit their entries according to the requirements of the finals.
Mid-November: Offline awards ceremony.
