Newly-Built Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway Enters Trial Operation Stage in China

TapTechNews August 29th news, the National Railway Group announced today that the newly-built Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway (hereinafter referred to as the Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway by TapTechNews) has entered the trial operation stage, and the countdown to the full-line opening and operation has begun.

The trial operation mainly conducts tests such as train operation diagram parameter testing, fault simulation, emergency rescue drill, and operation according to the diagram test according to the test outline requirements, simulating the formal operation status of the line, and conducting a comprehensive actual combat inspection on aspects such as high-speed rail transportation organization, train receiving and dispatching, operation density, and equipment status to provide a scientific basis for the formal opening and operation.

According to the official introduction, the Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway is an important part of the rapid railway corridor in Jiangsu, Anhui and Jiangxi, and an important backbone line in the intercity railway network in the Yangtze River Delta.

TapTechNews learned from publicly available information that the Xuancheng-Jixi High-Speed Railway starts from Xuancheng Station in Anhui, passes through Xuanzhou District, Ningguo City, and Jixi County in Xuancheng City, and finally reaches Jixi North Station. The newly-built main line is 111.6 kilometers long, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour. There are 3 stations including Xuancheng, Ningguo South, and Jixi North, among which Ningguo South Station is a newly-built station.
