Google to Bring 'Circle Selection Search' Feature to iOS Chrome Browser_1

TapTechNews reported on May 17th that Google has currently launched the 'Circle Selection Search' feature on Galaxy S24 and Pixel 8 series phones, and the latest news shows that Google plans to extend this feature to the iOS version of the Chrome browser. The MacObserver recently discovered a proposal in Chromium that Google plans to add a new experimental flag called 'LensCircletoSearch' for the iOS version of the Chrome browser. Users will be able to search for items by drawing circles on the screen, and once enabled, this feature will be able to invoke Google Lens on iOS devices. The company has been developing an upgraded version of Google Lens search internally, referred to as 'LensOverlay', and Google is evidently expanding it to more platforms and devices. TapTechNews previously reported that iPhone users can upgrade to the latest version of the Google app to achieve a similar 'Circle Selection Search' effect using shortcuts.
