TapTechNews reported on June 27 that Cainiao and Taobao Hong Kong Station announced that from today (June 27), more than 2.6 billion items on Taobao Hong Kong Station will provide direct delivery to Hong Kong with 'timeliness commitment guarantee'.

For all Taobao items with the 'HKX-day arrival' logo (X days refer to before 24:00 on the same day), as long as users choose to use the logistics method of Cainiao's 'direct shipping express', they can all get a definite timeliness guarantee.

According to the data of Taobao Hong Kong Station, among all 'arked' items, more than 60% of the items can be directly delivered from the warehouses of mainland merchants to Hong Kong within 3 days, and users no longer need to combine orders for consolidated shipping. In addition, if the order delivery is not completed within the committed timeliness, Cainiao will also compensate users for the cross-border segment of the logistics cost in the form of a logistics red envelope.

TapTechNews noticed that since last year, Cainiao has successively launched measures such as 6 yuan for small and light items directly delivered to Hong Kong, local return, extremely fast pickup at self-pickup points in the App, and exemption from the home residence surcharge for Taobao users in Hong Kong.
