TapTechNews translates the official announcement as follows:

Dear Pilgrims, we will start to remove the ultimate edition of the game 'Dying Light 2 Stay Human' and the upgrade path from all platforms on September 30th.

Please note: Players who have already purchased or upgraded to the ultimate edition will not be affected.

Regarding the reason for the suspension, the official said in responding to netizens:

During the development of 'Dying Light: The Beast', we found that the scale of the game has exceeded the original scope.

The game duration of 'Dying Light: The Beast' will reach 18 hours and will no longer be released as DLC, but will be released as an independent adventure game.

We will fulfill our commitment to long-term supporters and provide 'Dying Light: The Beast' for free to existing ultimate edition players, but due to the expansion of the scale, we decided to stop selling the ultimate edition.

In addition, the official said that players of 'Dying Light 2: Reloaded Edition' cannot get 'Dying Light: The Beast' for free:
