EA Announces New 'Battlefield' Work with Concept Images and Release Date in 2025

TapTechNews September 18th news, EA today announced two concept images of the new Battlefield work at the investor conference. The images contain elements such as helicopters and tanks, corresponding to two different scenarios of urban warfare (sandbags and building ruins can be seen in the picture) and total war (missile launches can be seen in the picture and has a wider field of view).

The pictures also show that the work is jointly developed by four studios: DICE (multiplayer mode), Motive (single-player mode), Criterion (single-player/multiplayer mode), and RippleEffect (new content).

EA Studio Group General Manager VinceZampella confirmed in an interview with IGN yesterday that the next Battlefield game will be launched in 2025, adopting a modern war background, with the classic 64-player large map, cancelling experts and restoring the career system.

In May this year, EA Chief Executive Officer AndrewWilson revealed in an earnings call that he had experienced the next Battlefield game being developed by EADICE and said he was very excited about what he saw and experienced.

According to a previous report by TapTechNews, there was a source who claimed that the next Battlefield series new work will be bundled with a free battle royale mode, and the game time is set at around 2025-2030 or so. This mode is developed by the RippleEffect studio (formerly known as DICELA) and can be played without purchasing the game body, which will help it gain a firm foothold in the battle royale game market.
