Since Apple released the first-generation iPhone in 2007, the position of the rear camera has always been in the upper left corner of the device. If it really moves to the 'top center' in next year's model, it will become one of the most obvious changes in the 18 years since the iPhone series was launched.

It is currently not clear what kind of change the camera layout will adopt after moving to the 'top center', but there are already many mature solutions in the Android camp, such as the long strip of Pixel 8 Pro and the Oreo circular of Huawei Mate 60 series.

It is said that this iPhone 17 phone is positioned similar to the iPhone X and will bring a'major redesign', and the price is higher than the current ProMax top configuration, perhaps the iPhone Ultra that has been guessed in recent years.

TapTechNews attaches the relevant information of this iPhone 17:

The display is between 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches (probably 6.5 inches)

The design is'significantly thinner' and uses an aluminum frame

The rear camera moves to the 'top center' position of the device

The price is higher than the ProMax model in the iPhone series

An improved front camera

A narrower Dynamic Island

An A19 chip
