AMD Releases 3.1 Version of Super Resolution Sharpening Technology

According to TapTechNews on June 28, AMD today released a blog post officially announcing the 3.1 version of the Super Resolution Sharpening Technology (FSR) and stated that FSR3 will be launched in 60 games soon.

Based on the blog post content, TapTechNews briefly introduces the improvements and new features of FSR3.1:

Improved upsampled image quality

Increased temporal stability, reducing flicker and jitter.

Enhanced ghosting elimination ability with better detail preservation.

Enhanced frame generation:

Can be combined with other upsampling solutions to achieve Decoupled frame generation technology.

Scalable FSR API:

Simplified the upgrade for developers for future versions of FSR.

Developer support:

Added support for Vulkan and the Xbox Game Development Kit (GDK).
