Kia Unveils 2025 K8 Sedan with Upgrades in Appearance and Interior

TapTechNews August 10th news, Kia launched the 2025 K8 sedan overseas yesterday. This car is positioned as a mid-term facelift family car, mainly upgraded in terms of appearance/interior. The price ranges from 37.36 million to 51.67 million Korean won (TapTechNews note: currently about 196,000 - 271,000 Chinese yuan).

In terms of appearance, the car adopts a brand-new design language, adding two new colors of ivory silver and sunset beige. The whole vehicle is equipped with a broken-line daytime running light belt and a dynamic welcome light and dynamic escort light with patterns. The front air intake is further moved down and integrated with the front bumper; while the rear bumper has added chrome trim.

In the cockpit, the car is equipped with a dual 12.3-inch connected screen + AR-HUD and is equipped with a new-generation ccNC infotainment system; in terms of interior, it provides four two-color interior styles of black, brown, beige, and navy blue; in terms of intelligence, it supports functions such as digital key, active noise reduction, dual wireless charging pads, rear manual sunshade, dynamic ambient light, welcome light, etc., and also supports the ADAS advanced intelligent driving assistance system.

In terms of specifications, the car has a length, width and height of 5050x1880x1455 (1480) millimeters, and a wheelbase of 2895 millimeters, and provides four power options: 1.6T hybrid system, 2.5L naturally aspirated engine, 3.5L V6 naturally aspirated engine, and 3.5L LPi engine.

1.6T hybrid system version: The maximum power is 180 horsepower, and the peak torque is 265 Nm.

2.5L naturally aspirated engine version: The maximum power is 198 horsepower, and the peak torque is 248 Nm.

3.5L V6 naturally aspirated engine version: The maximum power is 300 horsepower, and the peak torque is 359 Nm.

3.5L LPi engine version: The maximum power is 240 horsepower, and the peak torque is 314 Nm.
