Anhui Province and Hefei City's Electric Bicycle Trade-in Event Starts

TapTechNews September 24th news, under the guidance of the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce, the Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Market Regulatory Bureau, and the Fire Rescue Bureau, the launch ceremony of the electric bicycle trade-in event in Anhui Province and Hefei City, hosted by the Hefei Municipal Bureau of Commerce, was held today.

At the event site, the first electric bicycle traded in for a new one in Anhui Province was sold, marking the official start of the electric bicycle trade-in in Anhui Province. Currently, in Hefei City, 6 electric bicycle dealers have been launched as the first batch in the whole province, and more than 50 types of models that comply with the national mandatory standards have been launched. With the further implementation of the policy, more dealer stores will be included in the activity list.

Consumers who return their personal old electric bicycles and trade in for a new electric bicycle with lithium-ion battery can enjoy a purchase discount subsidy of 15% of the new car sales price, with a maximum subsidy of $75 (approx. 500 yuan).

Consumers who return their personal old electric bicycles and trade in for a new electric bicycle with lead-acid battery can enjoy a purchase discount subsidy of 20% of the new car sales price, with a maximum subsidy of $90 (approx. 600 yuan).

Each consumer can enjoy the subsidy up to 2 times, and the same new car cannot be subsidized repeatedly.
