Microsoft Removes Copilot Application from Windows Clients

TapTechNews June 15th news, Microsoft updated the support page on June 13th, indicating that through the latest released Microsoft Edge 126.0.2592.56 version update, the Copilot application was removed from the affected Windows client devices.

Microsoft said that after users updated to the latest Edge browser version, the list of installed applications in the settings no longer shows the 'Microsoft Copilot' entry.

Microsoft also clarified that the application did not collect or forward any data to its servers. It was just to prepare some devices for enabling Windows Copilot in the future.
