XPeng Motors Adjusts Organizational Structure to Focus on End-to-End Model

On the afternoon of August 9, it was recently reported that XPeng Motors has adjusted its organizational structure. According to the changes in the intelligent driving technology route, the organizational structure was disassembled and reinstalled, and the new organizational structure focuses on the end-to-end model.

The focus of this adjustment of XPeng Motors is the Technology Development Department, which is XPeng's algorithm R & D department, covering the algorithm R & D of perception, planning, control, and positioning. After the adjustment, the Technology Development Department was divided into three departments, namely AI End-to-End, AI Application, and AI Energy Efficiency.

In response to this, the official of XPeng Motors responded to Sina Technology that: Recently, the company has made corresponding organizational structure adjustments to the autonomous driving department, and newly established three functional sectors of AI model development, AI application development, and AI efficiency development, aiming to accelerate the evolution of AI capabilities and the transformation of organizational AI, and continuously bring AI intelligent driving products and experiences that exceed expectations to users.
