Beijing Unicom starts the trial commercial plan
China Unicom Beijing Branch held the inauguration ceremony of Beijing Unicom All-Optical Zhen Broadband - 10-Gigabit Experience Space on September 18th, announcing the launch of the Morning Star Plan, kicking off the trial commercial of the 10-Gigabit All-Optical Zhen Broadband package.
Beijing Unicom is not only the first communication operator in the capital with 10-Gigabit broadband access and commercial capabilities, but also the only operator in the country that builds the local metropolitan area network using the national trunk standard.
TapTechNews quoted the press release to report that Beijing Unicom upgrades the broadband directly from Gigabit to 10-Gigabit through the end-to-end all-optical cross OXC network architecture, realizing all-optical access of 100G to the station, meeting the comprehensive carrying and rapid access requirements of enterprises, families, and individuals.
The first 10-Gigabit household Unicom user is born
Mr. Dong, who lives in Chaoyang District, became the first Beijing Unicom user to experience 10-Gigabit broadband. He said:

He said that he is a technology enthusiast and has very high demands on the network in his daily work and life. In the past, when working remotely, every video material needed to be uploaded and downloaded to the centralized storage first, greatly affecting work efficiency.
Now after installing 10-Gigabit broadband, it can open huge files for collaboration in just a few seconds, and it can easily copy a 20-GB file to another computer within 20 seconds, and no longer have to endure the long wait.

After upgrading to 10-Gigabit, in addition to the significant improvement in the uplink and downlink rates, it also promotes the real landing of many emerging application scenarios.
