Huawei novaFlip Specs, Features and Release Date

TapTechNews August 3rd news, there is a new Huawei phone with the model PSD-AL00 that has appeared on Geekbench. Combined with the previous 3C certification, it is the Huawei novaFlip folding screen phone to be released on August 5th, equipped with 12GB of memory and running the HarmonyOS 4.2.0.113 system integrated with AOSP12.

According to previous revelations, this model is equipped with the HiSilicon Kirin 8000 chip (already applied to nova12/Pro), featuring a 2.40GHz large core, three 2.19GHz medium cores, and four 1.84GHz small cores, and integrates the Mali-G610 GPU. The single-core跑分 in Geekbench6.2.2 is about 1000 points, and the multi-core跑分 is 2419 points.

For reference, TapTechNews found the跑分 data around 1000 points on Geekbench6, mainly chips such as Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G, Snapdragon 778G+, Snapdragon 865, Samsung Exynos 990, MediaTek Dimensity 1200, Dimensity 1300, and Dimensity 8100.

In terms of multi-core, the models mainly include Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G, Snapdragon 855, HiSilicon Kirin 980, etc. between 2400~2500 points on Geekbench6.

According to previous revelations, the Huawei novaFlip will adopt a 6.94-inch 120Hz LTPO inner screen + 2.14-inch 60Hz OLED outer screen, with a 32MP front-facing self-timer lens and a 50MP RYYB main camera + 8MP ultra-wide-angle/macro lens at the back. It has an internal battery of 4400mAh, supports 66W fast charging, is 6.88mm thick, weighs 195g, and provides four colors of green, pink, white, and black (plain leather).
