TapTechNews May 29th news, Samsung tonight announced that it will introduce the GalaxyAI function into the OneUI 6 Watch system and the next-generation Galaxy Watch smartwatch.
According to the introduction, GalaxyAI will be combined with Samsung Health to bring the following brand-new health functions.
The brand-new EnergyScore function can help users comprehensively analyze personal health indicators: (about 8 hours of sleep on average per night in the US)
Average sleep time
Consistency of sleep time
Consistency of bedtime/wake-up time
Sleep duration
Activity level of the previous day
Sleep heart rate
Heart rate variability
And the WellnessTips function will provide insights, motivational tips and guidance according to the specific goals that users hope to achieve.
In addition, Samsung said it is enhancing the AI sleep algorithm to provide more sleep insight information: in addition to the previously supported snoring time, blood oxygen level and sleep cycle and other indicators, it also adds movement during sleep, sleep latency, heart rate during sleep and breathing frequency.
The brand-new fitness function adds new aerobic threshold (AT)/anaerobic threshold (AnT) heart rate zone indicators, and the functional threshold power (FTP) can be easily calculated with only 10 minutes of cycling; when running or cycling, using the Race function can compare the current and past performance on the same route.
Samsung announced that the above functions will come to the next-generation Galaxy Watch smartwatch to be released later this year with OneUI 6 Watch. Starting from June this year, some users in the US and South Korea can join the test program of the OneUI 6 Watch system.
