Nokia's Transformation From Phones to Smart TVs and Beyond
TapTechNews August 3rd news, the former Nokia mobile phone product manufacturer HMDGlobal is undergoing de-Nokiaization, and the Nokia smart TV manufacturer Streamview has also quietly removed the Nokia brand OEM products from its official website. In the future, the company will manufacture smart TVs of the French Thomson brand.
In addition to Nokia mobile phones/smart TVs, the former Finnish Nokia also authorized RichGo to launch Nokia brand headphone audio products and OFFGlobal to launch Nokia notebook computer products. Currently, these two companies have not yet issued announcements to announce the termination of the Nokia OEM.
However, TapTechNews found on the RichGo website that the relevant Nokia headphone audio product information still remains in 2021, and OFFGlobal has not launched notebook computers since 2022. Now, as the Nokia authorized products gradually decline and even enter the countdown state, in the future we may hardly see any brand new Nokia brand civilian products.
