BAIC Arcfox Announces Limited-Time Purchase Discounts for Alpha S5 and Alpha T5 Models
TapTechNews August 3rd news, BAIC Arcfox WeChat official account announced today the launch of a limited-time car purchase discount policy. Both the Arcfox Alpha S5 full series of models and the Arcfox Alpha T5 full series of models have a cash discount of $4,500 (about 31,888 yuan), and the discounted terminal retail prices start from $18,500 (about 12.88 million yuan) and $17,500 (about 12.38 million yuan) respectively. The activity is valid from August 1st, 2024 to September 30th, 2024.

Arcfox Alpha S5
It was launched in June this year, and the initial three models' guiding prices range from $25,000 (about 17.68 million yuan) to $30,500 (about 21.68 million yuan). At the beginning of this month, the 560PRO version was added as the entry-level version with a price of $22,500 (about 16.08 million yuan).
The Arcfox Alpha S5 full series is standard with an actively closed intake grille, an unopenable panoramic sunroof, L2-level assisted driving, panoramic imaging, front seat heating/ventilation/memory, Huawei Hicar/Apple CarPlay interconnection, and the rear seat 40:60 folding, etc.
The entry-level and sub-low-end versions of the Arcfox Alpha S5 support the 400-volt high-voltage fast-charging platform, while the mid-range and high-end models support the 800-volt high-voltage fast-charging platform. It offers single-motor and dual-motor models. The single-motor models have two power adjustments of high and low, with a maximum power of 260 kilowatts and 280 kilowatts respectively, and the maximum torque is both 480 Newton-meters; the combined power of the dual-motor model is 550 kilowatts, and the combined torque is 940 Newton-meters.
In terms of cruising range, the Arcfox Alpha S5 provides a lithium iron phosphate battery of 100 kWh and a ternary lithium battery of 125 kWh, and the cruising range under the CLTC working condition is 900 kilometers, 1000 kilometers (four-wheel drive), and 1100 kilometers.
Arcfox Alpha T5
It was launched in December 2023, and the guiding price is $22,000-$28,500 (15.58-19.98 million yuan). The car is equipped with an internal millimeter-wave radar on the roof (detecting vital signs in the rear of the car), four-zone intelligent voice interaction, E-link projection, 256-color ambient lights, a panoramic sunshade, front一体式 sports seats, etc. High-end models support 50W wireless fast charging for mobile phones, automatic anti-glare interior rearview mirrors, front seat memory and heating, and rear seat heating and other functional configurations. In addition, the car also has a hidden air conditioning outlet and a怀挡 design.
The Arcfox Alpha T5 can be selected with 260kW/280kW single-motor and lithium iron phosphate/ternary lithium battery versions. The battery capacity is divided into 100 kWh, 125 kWh, a nd 135 kWh, and the cruising range is 800 kilometers or 1000 kilometers. At the same time, the car also supports 800V high-voltage supercharging, and it can replenish 400 kilometers of energy in 10 minutes, and the official zero to 100 acceleration is 7.5 seconds.
