Tencent Games' Time Limit Notice for Minors During Dragon Boat Festival in 2024

TapTechNews, June 3rd. Tencent Games today released a notice about the time limit for minors to play games during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday in 2024. Before and after the Dragon Boat Festival holiday , the game time limit for minors of online games operated by Tencent Games in the Chinese mainland is implemented as follows:

Dates when minors can experience games

Date: June 7th - 10th (Friday and the Dragon Boat Festival holiday).

Time: Between 8 PM and 9 PM every day, minors can log in to the game.

Dates when minors cannot experience games

Except for the working days from June 7th to 10th, minors cannot log in to the game, which is the prohibited play period.

TapTechNews Note: In August 2021, the National Press and Publication Administration issued a notice, strictly limiting the time for providing online game services to minors. All online game enterprises can only provide minors with 1 hour of service from 8 PM to 9 PM every day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. At other times, online game services cannot be provided to minors in any form.
