TapTechNews July 11th news, Microsoft today (July 11th) released a blog post inviting Microsoft 365 Insider program members to test the new iOS version of the Word app on iPhone and iPad, The main new feature is to convert PDF files into editable Docx documents.
Microsoft said that more than 2.5 trillion PDF files are circulated on the network and mobile platforms. Although PDF is a preferred way of information sharing, it is very chaotic to manage.
If users want to view, edit, sign, print or convert PDF files, they usually need to switch different applications, resulting in a fragmented user experience, increased costs and potential security loopholes.
To solve the above problems, Microsoft allows iPhone and iPad users not only to easily open and browse PDF files, but also to convert them into editable Word documents. TapTechNews attaches relevant pictures as follows:
Microsoft has currently invited Microsoft 365 Insider program members to upgrade the iOS version of Word to Version 2.86 (Build 24051517) or higher to experience this function.
