Through the Windows App, users can enjoy a unified experience and easily connect to the familiar Windows experience from any device, and improve work efficiency with functions such as customizable home screen, multi-display support and USB redirection.

The Windows App also provides advanced security features including multi-factor authentication to ensure seamless and strong connections and efficient work anytime, anywhere.

It is worth noting that Microsoft said the Windows App will replace the Remote Desktop client on Windows, Apple devices and web browsers.

Microsoft said: To smoothly transition to the Windows application, we recommend that IT administrators use the Windows App Getting started documentation to update internal processes and develop guidelines for your users and help teams.
