Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 Gets First OTA Upgrade with New Functions
TapTechNews August 2nd news, Dongfeng Yipai announced that it will successively push the first OTA upgrade to the Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 car, adding 5 new functions and multiple experience optimizations.
The Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 adds a smart parking function, claiming to turn beginners into veteran drivers in an instant; adds a smart key remote parking function to solve the problem of users getting in and out of extremely narrow parking spaces; adds a trace back function, which can remember the effective driving route of 100 yards, and can be activated with one click when encountering a dead-end road that cannot be turned around.
The Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 supports CarLink wireless screen projection, covering 13 mobile phone brands such as Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo. The official said that CarPlay and Hicar will also be launched successively; it supports mobile phone App Bluetooth key sharing, and each car can authorize 4 car users.
According to TapTechNews' previous report, the Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 model was released and launched on June 14, providing both extended-range and pure electric dual-power versions, and the starting price is $31,000 (approximate value). The body length, width and height are 5002/1972/1732mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3025mm, positioned as a mid-to-large SUV.
