Apple's Fifth Entrepreneur Camp Opens Globally with New In-Person Events

TapTechNews August 14th news, Apple said today that the fifth Apple Entrepreneur Camp is now open for applications globally, including two new in-person events that will be held at the Apple Developer Center in Cupertino.

Research shows that founders from some minority communities usually face unique challenges, especially when founding and leading technology companies. Therefore, Apple created the Apple Entrepreneur Camp with the aim of supporting these founders and their organizations in building the next generation of cutting-edge applications and forming a global network to encourage the growth and long-term development of founders and developers who are not widely represented in the technology field.

Among them, the Apple Entrepreneur Camp will also provide the necessary support and skills for female founders to significantly accelerate their App development. This year, Apple has included several different groups in the project, including the first in-person event since 2019. Here they will have the opportunity to learn from Apple experts and communicate face-to-face with other developers - in addition to a virtual meeting composed of women and underrepresented groups.

The entrepreneur camp project is centered around intensive technical laboratories, where founders can obtain one-on-one App code-level guidance from Apple engineers, as well as guidance, inspiration and insights from Apple senior personnel. After the project ends, the institutions of the participants will obtain a one-year membership in the Apple Developer Program and can access the Apple Entrepreneur Camp alumni network, which is a group composed of world-class leaders.
