It is introduced that the Yancheng Green Energy Port project includes 4 220,000-cubic-meter liquefied natural gas storage tanks and 6 270,000-cubic-meter liquefied natural gas storage tanks, with a total tank capacity of 2.5 million cubic meters, making it China's largest liquefied natural gas reserve base. The Green Energy Port will be interconnected with national trunk pipelines such as the West-East Gas Pipeline and the China-Russia Eastern Route.

The China National Offshore Oil Corp's Yancheng Green Energy Port project, upon full operation, the annual liquefied natural gas processing capacity can reach 6 million tons, equivalent to 8.5 billion cubic meters of gaseous natural gas, which can supply domestic gas usage in Jiangsu Province for about 28 months.

According to TapTechNews' research, the China National Offshore Oil Corp's Yancheng Green Energy Port project is positioned as one of the main gas sources in Jiangsu, Anhui, and Henan provinces, meeting the needs of future natural gas consumption and peak shaving reserve in these three provinces. This project will further optimize the regional energy structure in Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Shandong and surrounding provinces, and accelerate the formation of a regional clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern comprehensive energy supply system.
