Cainiao Station Upgrades Service in Shanghai with Exclusive Home Delivery for Taobao Tmall Packages

Cainiao Station will provide the service of 'Taobao Tmall packages exclusive home delivery' to Shanghai users, and users only need to set the home delivery in the receipt preference.

Cainiao Station said that currently in the Shanghai area, it has strengthened the guarantee of home delivery of Taobao Tmall packages through various means such as adding manpower at the end and platform subsidies.

Users with receipt preferences can complete the setting on the 'Receipt Address - Management' page of the Taobao App. Cainiao Station will provide delivery methods such as on-demand home delivery or temporary storage at the station according to the user's preferences. When setting the preferences, users can also set the convenient receipt time and whether to answer the phone according to personal habits to customize the exclusive receipt experience.

TapTechNews noticed that Cainiao Station announced on July 9th that the residents of 21 communities in Shanghai will soon enjoy the 'before 24 o'clock' pickup freedom. The Cainiao Station sites in the following list will be upgraded with the 'night pickup' retrofit equipment for free. When community residents pick up at night, they no longer depend on whether the station manager is on duty, and they can simply scan the code to open the door and pick up by themselves.
