TapTechNews May 16th news, Jolla, the parent company of the Sailfish OS, announced today that it will hold a live event at 18:30 local time on May 20th (06:30 May 21st Beijing time) to introduce more information about the MIND² smart hardware. According to the teaser released by Jolla, the company is expected to launch a new phone at that time.
According to previous reports, Jolla showcased an AI assistant hardware named MIND² at MWC2024. This hardware can be understood as a router with a web-based AI assistant, allowing users to have voice conversations with AI after connecting to the relevant Wi-Fi.
However, Jolla did not disclose detailed information about MIND² at that time, only stating that the device price will be lower than 300 euros (approximately 2337 RMB). The primary target customers are Android users.
