Disney's Moana 2 Trailer Released, Set to Premiere in North America

TapTechNews, May 30th. The first trailer of Disney's hit animated film Moana 2 has been released and the film is set to hit theaters in North America on November 27th, and is expected to be released in the Chinese mainland soon.

This film is directed by Dave Derrick Jr. and features the return of voice actors Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson, telling the story of Moana being unexpectedly called by her ancestors to embark on an adventure in the distant seas of Oceania with Maui and a new team of sailors.

The cast of this film still includes voice actors such as Auli'i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson. The former will be voicing Moana (Moana), and the latter will be voicing Maui (Maui). Alan Tudyk is also among the known voice actors.

Public information shows that this film is the 63rd work in Disney's classic animated feature film series and a sequel to the 2016 film Moana. It is planned to be aired on Disney+ (TapTechNews note: Disney said that the cumulative playtime of Moana on Disney+ has exceeded 1 billion hours and it is the film with the longest playtime on all platforms in the US in 2023).
