Guoxuan High-Tech's All-Solid-State Battery Breakthrough and Its Advanced Features

TapTechNews August 21st, Guoxuan High-Tech disclosed when replying to investors on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Interactive Easy platform on the 19th that the company has currently achieved the preparation and basic performance verification of vehicle-grade all-solid-state batteries, which is a breakthrough from 0 to 1 of all-solid-state batteries, and successfully passed the harsh 200 degrees Celsius hot box test, providing a new implementation route for high specific energy and high safety battery systems.

In May this year, Guoxuan High-Tech released the JINSHI battery at its 13th Technology Conference, adopting all-solid-state technology, with an energy density of 350 watt-hours per kilogram, which is more than 40% higher than the mainstream ternary lithium battery.

It is introduced that the sulfide electrolyte route is chosen for Guoxuan's all-solid-state battery. Based on the micronization treatment of the argyrodite-type material (D50 no more than 500 nm), its electrolyte can achieve a high conductivity of more than 10 mS/cm. Among them, the 30Ah all-solid-state cell can achieve a mass energy density of 350 watt-hours per kilogram, a volumetric energy density of 800 watt-hours per liter, and the cycle number of the cell system can reach more than 3000 times.

TapTechNews found out that Guoxuan High-Tech previously claimed that the relevant PACK can achieve an 80% mass grouping rate, a system energy density of 280 watt-hours per kilogram, and support a single charge for a cruising range of 1000 miles (about 1609 kilometers).
