Apple Starts Preparing for iOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12 and visionOS 3 in 2025

TapTechNews June 30th news, Apple just released iOS 18 at the WWDC 2024 held in the middle of this month and brought new features such as AppleIntelligence. Now, Apple has started to prepare for iOS 19, macOS 16, watchOS 12 and visionOS 3 next year.

Mark Gurman disclosed in the latest issue of the PowerOn newsletter that Apple has officially started to develop the major operating systems in 2025:

iOS 19 (Luck - Good Luck)

macOS 16 (Cheer - Cheers)

watchOS 12 (Nepali - Nepalese/Language)

visionOS 3 (Discovery - Discover)

Gurman said that although it is too early to talk about these now, after all, this year's software has not been released to the public. But this is the normal timeline, The company has already started developing next year's hardware products and needs the accompanying software to start the test setup.

TapTechNews noticed that the internal codes of iOS 18, macOS 15 and visionOS 2 released this year are Crystal (Crystal), Glow (Glow), and Constellation (Constellation) respectively, while that of watchOS 11 is temporarily unknown.
