TapTechNews August 27th news, Team Group today announced the launch of two ECO series storage products with the core concept of 'circular economy'. These products all adopt eco-friendly paper materials and PCR post-consumer recycled plastic, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions during the production process.
Specifically, these two products are T-FORCE DELTA RGB ECO DDR5 memory module and PD20 ECO mini mobile solid state drive respectively.
Team Group said that T-FORCE DELTA RGB ECO DDR5 is the 'industry's first eco-friendly RGB lighting effect overclocking memory'. This memory module is equipped with a light guide column made of 100% PCR plastic and a heat sink made of 80% recycled aluminum, which can reduce carbon emissions by up to 73%.
T-FORCE DELTA RGB ECO DDR5 is available in two kit capacities of 2×16GB or 2×32GB, with a maximum frequency of 6400 CL32 (TapTechNews note: only provided in 2×16GB capacity).
And the PD20 ECO mini mobile solid state drive with the color of sage green has 75% of its shell made of PCR plastic. Each manufacture of a PD20 ECO is equivalent to reducing the waste of nearly 0.442 plastic bottles.
This mobile solid state drive weighs 22g, is equipped with a USB3.2 Gen2x1 5Gbp Type-C transmission interface, and the sequential read speed can reach 1000MB/s, with a maximum capacity of 4TB. Its interface is covered with a silicone cover, has IP54 dustproof and waterproof certification, and has a 3-year warranty.
