TapTechNews May 19th, a US startup company, Terminal.shop, has recently launched a very special e-commerce business that allows consumers to order coffee using the SSH protocol.
It is introduced that users need to SSH into the store through the terminal and directly order coffee beans using the pure command-line interface provided by Terminal.shop. Currently, the company only provides one medium-roasted Brazilian coffee with a weight of 12 ounces (TapTechNews note: about 339.6 grams) and a price of $25 (currently about 181 RMB).
It is introduced that the command-line store function provided by the startup company is relatively complete and even supports hotkeys. Users can press S to enter the main menu, C to access the shopping cart, and F to query frequently asked questions. Although the company has not opened the store source code, the about page of the store shows that the company uses Stripe for payment processing and other operations at the back end.
