Avita E16 Model Expected to Hit the Market in Q4 with Dual Versions
TapTechNews May 19th news, according to the information obtained by Understand Car Emperor Vision, in addition to the already announced Avita 07 (code E15) model, the Avita E16 model is expected to go on the market in the fourth quarter, providing both pure electric and extended-range dual versions.
As early as at the Avita partner investment promotion conference held in July last year, CEO Tan Benhong mentioned that the two new cars of E15 and E16 would be launched in 2024. Tan Benhong pointed out that 2024 will be a key year for it to impact the share.
In addition, the bidding document of Changan Automobile's Liangjiang Factory shows that the Avita E16 and Avita 12 (code E12) will be put into production in the first plant area of Chongqing Liangjiang Factory, and the E16 model also has an extended-range version. The content of the document also shows that the same production line models also include Deep Blue C385 (that is, Deep Blue SL03).
At present, the appearance and configuration information of the Avita E16 is still unknown, but the real car of the Avita 07 with code E15 has been announced, and the wheelbase reaches 2940mm. The car provides both pure electric and extended-range power systems for selection, and it is expected to be officially launched in the third quarter of 2024.
