Norway Installs Diesel Generators on Electric Buses, Tesla's Response and Future Plans

TapTechNews September 25th news, blogger PeterSweden posted on X (Twitter) on the 21st, saying that Norway is installing diesel generators on electric buses to heat the carriages in winter. And in last winter, due to the depletion of the bus battery, people were trapped in the car and the situation became chaotic for a while. The blogger also emphasized that this is not something made up out of thin air.

Elon Musk replied to this post and said that for buses, the battery pack is really too small, and Tesla can even operate well in areas near the Arctic Circle. When Tesla releases a fully autonomous self-driving car without supervision, buses will no longer be needed. Because Tesla can send people from the starting point to the destination at about the same cost as a bus.

Not long ago, a post by a Warner Bros. employee MatthewDR on Reddit (TapTechNews note: this post has now been deleted) showed that currently there is a small vehicle with a unique shape and covered in layers of camouflage that has appeared, and this is likely the upcoming Robotaxi driverless taxi.

The car adopts a two-door and two-seat design, the body is covered with yellow tape and has several fake body panels. There is a box-shaped protrusion at the rear, which may be to cover the body curve. Foreign media claim that this car uses a long strip taillight design similar to the Cybertruck pickup truck.
