Microsoft to Merge Xbox Game Pass and Mobile App, with Updates and New Features

TapTechNews September 26th news, Microsoft announces that it will soon merge the Xbox Game Pass and Xbox mobile applications into one application.

These updates will be initially available to Xbox testers on the mobile side and will soon be open to everyone. As part of the change, we will no longer support new downloads of the Xbox Game Pass application starting from November.

The new Xbox application will include GamePass integration, party chat, text chat, viewing game screenshots, and features such as remote installation or remote play of games.

However, due to the dispute between Microsoft and Apple, mobile players still need to open Xbox Cloud Gaming through a supported browser to play cloud games.

In addition, Microsoft also announced today the launch of its new GameBar game bar lite mode for all PC players, and also improved some Xbox applications on the PC side, thereby saving download space for players.
