Google Launches Luminous Version of Android "TheBot" Doll

TapTechNews September 25th news, Google has recently launched a luminous version of Android "TheBot" doll, which is the latest limited edition jointly launched by Google and DeadZebra.

"TheBot" is the latest version of Google's Android robot, which first debuted at the beginning of this year. Now, the Google official store has started selling the luminous version of "TheBot" doll.

This 3-inch (TapTechNews note: about 7.62 centimeters) high vinyl doll has the same design as the regular green doll, but appears white in daylight. In the dark environment, the doll will emit a green glow. The official Google explanation says: "Don't worry about the lights going out, this Android doll can continue to bring fun even in the dark! Invisible during the day and glowing at sunset."

Although there is currently no official luminous effect picture, the picture on the doll packaging clearly shows the green luminous effect. This luminous version doll is currently only available in the US market, with a limited quantity and a price of $21 (currently about 147 RMB), slightly more expensive than the regular version ($16).
